Members of the Sefton Art Group have regular exhibitions in the local Merseyside area. These prove popular to visitors as it allows them to visit our group, enjoy viewing displayed art work while enjoying refreshments with us. The exhibitions allow members to showcase their work and to allow visitors to purchase their art work at very good prices, as no commission is taken from any sale. The artists receive the full sale price.

Featured artists will also discuss any commission paintings you have in mind. Members are more than willing to offer quotes and advice. Simply contact the artist.

The farm pottery, Lancashire, — The Farm Pottery was established in November 2020 by four local potters. After a few months, one of the founders left to take up a prestigious internship at the Leach Pottery in Cornwall, where she continues to work today. Over the years, a few other members have come and gone, but three of the original potters remain: Fiona Kirby, who specialises in clay heads; Julia Tiesteel, known for her clay sculptures; and Vinny Commons, our resident thrower. We are also delighted to welcome Dave, who has recently joined the pottery. Julia and Vinny run small pottery classes, with all materials and equipment provided, making them ideal for beginners as well as those wishing to develop their skills.

Some of our work is displayed in the window, and some of our pieces are available for sale. More than anything, however, The Farm Pottery is a vibrant working studio and a place of daily creativity. Visitors are always welcome to look in, especially those passing by on their way to the Farm's café or campsite.
